Light Fossils: B&W Study- Moulton Ranch - Grand Tetons

If you Google the Moulton Ranch, you will see HUNDREDS of fancy photos of this iconic, Wyoming ranch. It is like photographing a MacDonalds - there is an endless stream of visitors and photographers. No one can quite figure out why they are there. At least I couldn't. However, I have it on excellent authority that local Grand Tetonians absolutely revere the place for its part in their rugged, wild west, history....no wine and cheese set, these folks. Unfortunately, this was a mid-day excursion, on a cloudless day, and the air was filled with smoke from record-breaking, Canadian forest fires burning in the north. The far-away mountains could not be rendered clearly...sorry about that.
