Light Fossil Studios: Yellowstone Natl. Park - #1 of 15
First of 15 series covering things you can see at Yellowstone National Park during the summer months. I haven't taken a single original picture in Yellowstone. Every picture here is exactly what every other tourist takes. You really don't have much choice when you are there because you have to walk on paths, park at designated locations, etc. I understand why this is, but anyone who goes there sees the same things. If I went there again I would take a counterbalanced boom. If you could extend your camera 10 feet off these paths, the bottoms of most of these pools and streams would be visible and the camera would be extended beyond the places where idiots jabbed sticks in the algae, scratched their names in the algae, left footprints in the sands, or lost their hats into the pools as a result of the gusty winds. a boom would be AWESOME as you would be able to captures things no one else does.
