This is Deadwood Falls, a 30 minute hike down from the Jackson Glacier Overlook at Glacier National Park (East).  My pictures do not do this place justice.  If you ever travel to Glacier (East), don't miss this little-known gem.  This is August and the flow, and so the whole ambience, is serene and crystal clear.  Being the only folks there is key.
Clear enough?
The rocks, when wet, are brick red.  This is much like you will see at Red Rock Canyon in Waterton Lakes Park in Alberta, only without the ant-like spreading of tourists..
The canyon walls are beyond lush...
